INTERMEDIATE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Chapman Consulting Engineers Ltd is a small, yet dedicated team of structural engineers based in central Timaru, who specialise in delivering structural design, for a diverse range of projects, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and industrial complexes across the region. You'll join a close-knit team of engineers and report directly to Director/Principal Engineer.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
NZ Bachelor of Engineering degree, or qualification recognised under the Washington Accord
Minimum 3 years' New Zealand structural engineering experience
Understand NZ standards such as NZS3604, NZS3603, NZS1170, NZS3101 and NZS3404
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The legal right to work in New Zealand (NZ Citizen, Resident, or holder of a valid open work visa) and the ability to relocate to Timaru
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Designing residential, commercial and industrial projects in South Canterbury and Central Otago
Carrying out site Inspections and design meetings
Liaising with architects, designers, clients and on-site contractors
Delivering projects on time and on budget
Working closely and professionally within a small team environment
